The face down banished by Quicksilver Grail has no properties. It has no name, types, effects, or stats. This means that effects that interact with cards in banishment that require seeing a certain property such as 'Sword' subtype won't be able to interact with this face down card.

The owner of the face down card may look at it at any time.

When Quicksilver Grail is banished to play the face down banished card, you play that card using its default play type. If the card has a reserve cost, that card is activated. If the card has a memory cost, that card is materialized. 

The face down banished card being played still checks for elemental requirements and its costs must be paid.
